The Spa Medical Practice is a four partner (two full time, two half time) practice with two full time salaried associates and a patient population of 8200.

We work in Droitwich Medical Centre. Salter’s Medical Practice and PCT staff work in the same building. Our new building will be opened in September 2008, with dedicated Trainee Consulting Rooms and a tutorial room.

The GPs are supported by a full time prescribing nurse practitioner, and a full nursing team.
Other staff include a Practice Development Manager, Operations Manager, Receptionists, Secretaries, a Mental Health Gateway Worker and Counsellor, as well as the usual Primary Care attached staff from the PCT.

It is a busy, friendly practice where all members of staff work well as a team. We use the INPS Vision 3 computer software, and have recently published our web site at www.spamedical.co.uk

Worcestershire OOH Service provides emergency patient care outside of the normal working week.
The Practice uses Emergency On-the-Day, 48 Hour and Routine appointments. A nurse practitioner assists with some of the emergency work.
